Baby It's Gold Outside

Well, it's December and our weddings are still in full swing. We are loving seeing how brides work with our Christmas decorations to enhance their beautiful wedding decor.

Gold is such a perfect color for this season, Christmassy without being too "much".

And this candy and donut station is just gorgeous!!!

Yes, those are gold dusted Krispy Kreme's!!! I know, right?!?!?

Congrats MandD #madlove

Beauty and the Beast

What an amazing wedding! Love this couple and love the theme. Here is how to take your favorite Disney movie and turn it into a classy, elegant theme.

Such a great color scheme, it really pops!

All of the little details come together to make a huge impact.

So sweet!

Congratulations Brittany and Josh!

How do you plan bring your favorite things into your wedding?

Popcorn and lace...

This past Saturday's wedding was a nice spin on the vintage look, leaning more towards Victorian. Just a little lace and khaki really made the succulent centerpieces and details pop.

And this sweet and salty treat for the guests was a hit. Mix your own flavor a and add a scoop of candy to create a bag of gourmet popcorn.

If you are having trouble picking a favor for your guests, go with an edible one. I guarantee your guests will enjoy it.

Life's a beach

We don't get many beach themed weddings here at Cinnabar Hills, so I was super excited for this one...

The bride picked out each unique part of every centerpiece, making every table slightly different.

The place cards were a great bonding moment for the groom and his new mother in law, they made them together.

And the mother of the bride also made the handmade cookie favors... So sweet.

Congrats Emily and Carlos!

Life is peachy....

Hi all,

It's been a while since I posted details from one wedding, so here are a few cute shots from this past Saturday's wedding. I love the subtle peach and aqua splashes and the simple charm of the natural wood and ivory.

I love this angle, catching the vows through the window next to the cake.

So sweet... This flower girl was probably even more excited for this wedding than the bride and groom, she was adorable and couldn't stop grinning!

Congrats Rachel and Nate!

Be our guest... Book!

One thing I love about all the different weddings we hold here are the creative ways our couples get their guests to leave their mark. From traditional to fun, functional to playful, have a look at some of their guest book ideas.

The traditional signature/comment book

And going a little further, a picture album to sign

Why not replace the place card with a poloroid of each guest...

Or how about printing pictures for guests to sign? You can frame and hang them around your house....
Or do the same with a large canvas. Look at the great backdrop they chose for this signing canvas

Or if hanging a pictures of your guests names isn't your thing, how about a game with all of them...

Do you have a unique idea for your guest book? Leave a comment below. 😀

Up, pretty in pink and blue books by the foot

Hey all,

It has been one busy year so far, wedding after wedding! We had three in a row last week and they were all so different, which I love, love, love. So here are some details showing you how one venue can look different from one day to the next.

First up, I loved Friday's color scheme. Emerald green is set to be next years color of the year, way to go trend setters!

The bride and groom are big fans of the movie Up, and used little details throughout to bring their personality to the decor...

Saturday's wedding went with classic pink and ivory.

The little splash of up lighting really adds to the overall look of the room.

And a classic cake to compliment the style of a classic bride.

Sunday's wedding had a few touches that I fell in love with.
I learned that you can order books by the foot in whichever color you like. What a great concept for table decorations.

Blue wedding hues give the room a fresh cool feel, and fresh definitely describes this cake.
I love those ombré cascading flowers.

And this beautiful couple also chose to add some cool blue to their ceremony.

Congratulations to all three of our amazing couples! Thank you for the inspiration And for being a dream to work with.
