Life is peachy....

Hi all,

It's been a while since I posted details from one wedding, so here are a few cute shots from this past Saturday's wedding. I love the subtle peach and aqua splashes and the simple charm of the natural wood and ivory.

I love this angle, catching the vows through the window next to the cake.

So sweet... This flower girl was probably even more excited for this wedding than the bride and groom, she was adorable and couldn't stop grinning!

Congrats Rachel and Nate!

Up, pretty in pink and blue books by the foot

Hey all,

It has been one busy year so far, wedding after wedding! We had three in a row last week and they were all so different, which I love, love, love. So here are some details showing you how one venue can look different from one day to the next.

First up, I loved Friday's color scheme. Emerald green is set to be next years color of the year, way to go trend setters!

The bride and groom are big fans of the movie Up, and used little details throughout to bring their personality to the decor...

Saturday's wedding went with classic pink and ivory.

The little splash of up lighting really adds to the overall look of the room.

And a classic cake to compliment the style of a classic bride.

Sunday's wedding had a few touches that I fell in love with.
I learned that you can order books by the foot in whichever color you like. What a great concept for table decorations.

Blue wedding hues give the room a fresh cool feel, and fresh definitely describes this cake.
I love those ombré cascading flowers.

And this beautiful couple also chose to add some cool blue to their ceremony.

Congratulations to all three of our amazing couples! Thank you for the inspiration And for being a dream to work with.

Winter Wonderland???

Here in California, it is a little hard to believe that winter is happening. The weather is just great...

But elsewhere in the world, snowflakes and icicles abound. So here are some design ideas on fabulous and frosty winter weddings. Happy planning!

A white white white wedding, filled with glitzy candle light decorations! #winter #wedding #diyWinter Weddings - Winter Wedding Ceremony | Wedding Planning, Ideas & Etiquette | Bridal Guide MagazineUse dry branches to give this winter wedding a rustic an warm feeling.
Winter themed weddings are great for playing with mediums other than flowers. Branches and trees with white blossoms, lights or even just sprayed a playful color give a winter theme an added edge, bringing the outside in.

You can have a lot of fun with color schemes at this time of year too. I love the traditional holiday colors of red and green, seeing how couples have used this palette without it feeling like they stole decorations from the Christmas tree!

Cranberry and Gold Wedding, I'm a married woman now and my husband hates gold but this is beautiful

mint, gray, silver, and gold -- pretty winter wedding colors....i never would even think about having a winter wedding but this is adorable! and who wouldn't want a fur?!

But then you could also go with an icy blue...

What colors will you pick?

We're off on an adventure...

So, I don't think I am supposed to have favorites, it's not fair to all the others after all but those who know me will understand that I was so excited for today's wedding I almost pee'd my pants!!!
I am a self confessed book nerd and I found a kindred spirit with today's B&G.
Check out this book lovers dream...
Every table was named after an author loved by the bride and groom, with a book or two and a couple of quotes by said authors. There was no map or number system so to find their table guests had to go around and read the quotes. Who doesn't love a bit of light reading at a wedding?!?!

Books everywhere...

The favors were little goodie bags with tea and cookies, the perfect treat to curl up with a good book.

And then there was the cake... And what a cake!!!

I loved every detail of this wedding but most of all I loved working with the bride and groom who were so sweet.
Look at the groom and groomsmen in their "shire-attire" . Love love loved it!

Mint to be.....

Love the ceiling treatment. Very fitting for such a glamorous bride.

A little tutu for the cake table, just too too cute! (I know, I know, but I can't resist a bad joke!)

White with little hints of mint are such a fresh way to use this color. It goes a long way so the flowers, napkins and table names are enough to really make a statement.

You gotta love a thoughtful bride, the guests all danced the night away, with happy toes!

Congratulations Desiray and Silvestre!

In the navy!!!!

Navy is such a popular wedding color, and for good reason. It always looks so elegant paired with ivory, white or any other lighter colors.

I love this cute cake topper, the bride dragging the groom off the golf course. So appropriate for a wedding here at cinnabar hills golf club, one of the grooms favorite courses!

Congratulations Brandee and Ruben!
